Week One Complete
Good Morning Comet Parents!
Week # 1 of Comet Practice is now officially in the books! It was a pretty busy week. We had a GREAT week of weather, the Parent mtg was held on Wednesday, and we closed with a wonderful Kick Off Party to cap the week!
Thank you to ALL the volunteers and donors for this great opening weekend event!
As promised at the Parent mtg last Wed, below is a brief schedule for the next several weeks. Our actual game schedule we hope to have available by this weekend after some communities finalize actual teams this week before we can schedule games.
Practicing in FULL EQUIPMENT starts tonight for grades 5th thru 8th (for those that have completed 3 days of conditioning) and on Tuesday for 1st thru 4th. Please make sure to check the fit of your child’s gear and ask the coaches if you have questions or concerns about the fit.
Same with GAME UNIFORMS. This week we should be able to FULLY correct ALL issues related to fitting.
If you child has NOT completed 3 days of conditioning (helmets/shorts only), that must be done PRIOR to practicing in full gear. Also this year every player MUST have a MINIMUM 3 days of conditioning, and 3 days of practice in ALL gear PRIOR to playing in any competition.
Players that were missing all last week and any practice this week will not be able to compete in the Jamboree on 8/17/19.
We will also be following up on any missing, forms, payments, etc.. this week.
