Comet Update 5/9/24

Good Morning Comet Parents!

Our third and final equipment fitting will be held Wednesday 5/22/24 at Thelen Park @ 5:00 PM. This is to hopefully gather anyone that we’ve missed the past two fittings, and so we can also order any practice jerseys and pants that are needed as well as uniforms. We will hand out any missing items from this and previous fittings the first week of practice if they’re not here in time.

Please bring two checks with you – $150 for equipment deposit and $250 for volunteer deposit. If you do not have a check book, the bank can give you temporary checks upon request.

Again, we will hand out any equipment and practice uniforms owed by the first week of practice, possibly at the Newbie Camp being held on Thursday night the 25th of July. The Newbie Camp is for ALL NEW PLAYERS ONLY. More to follow.

Any late registrants (after 22nd May) and/or those who do not attend this final scheduled fitting, will incur additional charges as uniforms will have to be ordered individually.

Lastly, based on current registration below are some estimates of our early team needs:

1st Grade – 11 players. Low headcount but ok as they are combined with 2nd.  Will need to recruit long term

2nd Grade – 8 players. Low headcount but ok as they are combined with 1st.  Will need to recruit long term

3rd Grade – 14 players. Need to recruit for a league requirement of 15 min.

4th Grade – 21 players. Ok

5th Grade – 36 players. Two teams or one very large team?

6th Grade – 24 players. Ok

7th Grade – 23 players. Ok

8th Grade – 18 players. Ok
