Comet Update – Final Week of 2025 “Pre-Season” Wk # 4 – Stateline Comets Football Organization

Good Afternoon Comet Parents!

Let’s start this message off with a HUGE THANK YOU to EVERY helping hand that contributed last week to make our 2025 Jamboree a success!

Absolutely spectacular! Some folks spent many hours above and beyond all of last week making this event possible without fail.

Thank you Abi, Lautenschlager Family, Preston Family, Coaches Weiler, Johnson, Northern, and so many, many volunteers!

GREAT JOB! This was the first time in ten years that we actually had to cancel one of the sessions due to weather (7^th/8^th). But in the end at least everyone was safe.

A few items listed below are on our immediate needs list from anyone with experience.

Field work
1. We have some top soil being delivered to the Park very soon. We need it added in some spots with holes. Looking for help and/or suggestions from those whom have done this.
Electrical
1. One of the ceiling fans in the concession stand is not working. If it can be checked OR replaced it would be appreciated. We have a new one already available in the garage. Must be licensed.
Grill Cleaning
1. Our large roaster needs a good cleaning and both thermocouple valves replaced
2. The 8 burner gas grill also needs a good cleaning

Any of the items above can also be used for volunteer time as well.

ALL UPCOMING 2025 PRACTICES

It’s back to school time already! Where did the summer break go?

After this weekend, the league will go to a maximum of 6 hrs of practice (3 nights) for Grades 3^rd thru 8^th, and only 4 hrs (two nights) a week for Grades 1^st/2^nd starting next week August 25^th. Please follow the instructions of each of your teams for days/times.

Our 2025 Regular Season OPENS this Saturday! Your four weeks of practice is now put to test…

Our Flag Team kicks off the 2025 Home Season with an 8:00 AM Game!

The 1^st/2^nd Grade team plays @ Elkhorn 9 AM

The 3^rd Grade team plays @ Wilmot 9 AM

The 4^th Grade team is @ Muskego Red 1:30 PM

The 5^th Grade team is HOME at 9:00 AM against RYS 1

The 6^th Grade team is also HOME against Union Grove @ 10:45 AM

The 7^th Grade team is at HOME playing Whitnall at 12:30 PM

The 8^th Grade team closes the HOME games of the day @ 2:15 PM vs RYS
