TWO WEEKS COMPLETE!
Organization Update:
Practice
TACKLE practices for PRE-SEASON week #3 Grades 5th thru 8th will again be Mon thru Thursday. Grades 1st thru 4th will be Tuesday thru Thursday. And as most tackle practice times, 530-730 PM. It was yet another great weather week and next week looks very similar. Please stay hydrated beginning at home, while at practice, and also after practice.
Flag practice I believe is Monday and Wednesday 530-700.
All of the confirming times should be communicated to you each and every WEEK from your teams TEAMSNAP app or team moms.
If you have NOT completed THREE days of conditioning yet, you will be required to do so PRIOR to practicing in pads. Also 12 min hours total practice time prior to participating in a scrimmage or game. If you fall into this category you would be unable to participate in next Sat Jamboree on 8/20/22.
EQUIPMENT UPDATE
The equipment crew worked diligently again ALL of this week fitting teams. THANKS to all those working behind the scenes working many hours to complete this! We will take one more week to make final adjustments with all teams and then return any equipment up for certification next year to our supplier with hopes of being way ahead of the curve for next season.
HOUSEKEEPING
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pick up after yourselves at the Park after EVERY VISIT. Every night we seem to have leftover food wrappers, water bottles, misc garbage to pick-up. The Comets sign an agreement annually to ensure we will keep the Park clean or ordered to pay fees for them to have it professionally done. The Coaches also have to sign an agreement with the Village. So we ask for all of your support. This also includes at other community parks. Thank you very much
SEYFA AUGUST MONTHLY LEAGUE MTG
The monthly SEYFA mtg was held this past Wednesday @ 6 PM for ALL League/Community Officers. Discussion was held regarding team counts, rosters, Jamboree updates, and the 2023 schedule. We hope to see the schedule this coming week or certainly by next weekend. We WILL advise all of you when we receive it. It requires LOTS of discussion and planning since many teams also use their HS fields which certainly complicates matters. A draft schedule will be released, it will then be reviewed by ALL communities, approved or adjusted, then final release to the public. Thank you for your understanding.
If you have a balance due (regst or deposit) or still need to provide us with a copy of a Birth Certificate, please bring this to Practice.
UPCOMING DATES OF INTEREST
Jamboree
Saturday August 20th, 2022 Times/sessions based on grade levels. This will be a very large event requiring LOTS of volunteers.You will hear from your Team Moms VERY soon. THIS INCULDES YOUR OWN GAME SCHEDULE FOR THIS DAY.
