Good Morning Comet Parents,
WOW! That’s all we can say this morning after such a long day for an event that takes an absolute tremendous amount of work and support to pull off. If this was your first event you ever attended, you just got a taste of how great our community really is.
We cannot thank the Parents, Coaches, Board, Refs, EMT’s, SGPD, VOSG, and helpers from other communities that assisted to make this day absolutely great. If you helped for just one hour, or the better part of the day, you were greatly needed, and YOUR efforts were felt by ALL! YOU made a positive difference! The weather forecast was not in our corner for the better part of a week and including a storm late Friday night. Yet amazingly our prayers were answered and all went VERY well….
And when we walked off the property at dark last night after 15 hours…the park was CLEAN!
We hope to have lots of photo’s later, including drone footage from session one.
