Comets Update – Week #5

Good Afternoon Comet Parents!

Cheers to another great weekend of football fun! The weather we’ve had thus far in 2025 sure has been great this entire season including practices.

This coming Saturday we’re moving into Week # 5 which is the second half of the 2025 regular season.

Sept 20th Results

Our Flag team continues progressing on their skills of the game and knowledge! They finished with another tie game this past Saturday!

The 1^st/2^nd grade team lost 0-31 at Wilmot.

The 3^rd graders lost a VERY close game to Elkhorn 6-7.

The 4^th grade played a great game and gathered their first win of the season 28-7 over RYS.

The 5^th graders pitched a perfect shutout to our rival neighbors to the south 37-0 over Johnsburg.

The 6^th grade lost 8-36 to RYS.

The 7^th grade had a BYE.

The 8^th graders also had a BYE.

Sept 27^th Games this Saturday! FIESTA BOWL COMET HOMECOMING

Our Flag team kicks off our BIG DAY of home games this Sat at 8 AM!

1^st/2^nd Grade plays Waterford Green (3-1) at 9 AM

3^rd Grade team has a BYE.

4^th Grade plays Muskego Black (4-0) at 1030 AM

5^th Graders take on Whitnall (3-0) at NOON

6^th Grade plays Grayslake North (0-4) at 1:45 PM

7^th Graders will play Westosha (2-2) at 3:30 PM

8^th Grade plays Waterford (3-0) at 5:15 PM in the final game of the day.

Our RB Rockets…gathered their FOURTH win off the season on Homecoming last Friday night and WON 49-0 over Harvard!

This Friday the Rockets play the Woodstock Blue Streaks (3-1) at 7 PM for a thrilling Friday night of HS football!
