Comets Update – Week #2
Good Afternoon Comet Parents!
Hoping everyone had a great Holiday Weekend!!
And now we’re back to playing football after a short break and moving into Week # 2 of the regular season this Saturday.
August 23rd Results
Our Flag team opened the season with a 24-24 Tie!
The 1st/2nd grade team lost their opener 0-28 at Elkhorn.
The 3rd graders lost to Wilmot on the road 6-20.
The 4th grade lost a heart stopper as Muskego scored as the time expired in their contest.
The 5th graders opened the season at home with a 32-16 win over RYS.
The 6th grade also had a big home win 30-6 over Union Grove.
The 7th grade went into DOUBLE OT and they lost a very close one 34-36 to Whitnall.
The 8th graders lost at home to RYS 14-26.
Sept 6th Games this Saturday!
Our Flag team kicks off the home games this Sat at 8 AM!
1st/2nd Grade plays Oak Creek White (0-1) at 9 AM @ home
3rd Grade plays also at home against RYS (0-1) at 1030 AM
4th Grade closes out the home games for the day at NOON vs Oak Creek White (1-0)
5th Graders are on the road at Waterford (0-1) 130 PM
6th Grade travels to BGC (0-1) for a 9 AM game
7th Grade is at GLN (0-1) for a 345 PM contest
8th Grade is at Westosha Maroon (0-0) for a 1045 AM game
This FRIDAY NIGHT is Comet Night and our RBCHS Rockets HOME OPENER!
PLEASE follow your teams instructions for the night and plan on attending!
Speaking of our Rockets…our varsity team opened their 2025 IHSA season on the road last Friday night at Marian Central and WON 49-13!
This Friday the Rockets host Coal City (1-0) at 7 PM which will be a great night of football!
Come on out and support our Rockets and have some fun on Comet Night at RB!
