Comets Update – Week #6

Good Afternoon Comet Parents!

Happy OCTOBER!!

Thanks to the many helping hands that made our Fiesta Bowl weekend a great day! Six tackle games and one Flag game!

We have a similar weekend coming up on 10/11/25! Six tackle games and one Flag game.

We are now in Week # 6 which is the end of the 3^rd quarter of the 2025 regular season.

All of our 2025 games are scheduled thru next weekend only, and then all teams will be seeded accordingly. Playoff and non-playoff teams alike.

So after next weekend, you will have to wait to see your opponent, location, and game time unless it can be determined prior.

Sept 27th Results

Our Flag team kicked off the BIG DAY of home games and fought hard to another grueling tie!

1^st/2^nd Grade lost 6-27 to Waterford Green

3^rd Grade team had a BYE.

4^th Grade lost 0-27 to Muskego Black

5^th Graders shutout Whitnall 20-0

6^th Grade also shutout their opponent Grayslake North 32-0!

7^th Graders lost 12-32 to Westosha

8^th Grade had a shutout victory over Waterford 14-0 in the final game of the day.

Oct 4^th Games

Our Flag team will kick off our 3 home games of the day at 8 AM!

1^st/2^nd Grade has a BYE.

3^rd Grade team is at J-Burg (2-2) @ 9 AM.

4^th Grade opens the tackle games at home 9 AM against 0-5 Milw Lutheran.

5^th Graders have a BYE.

6^th Grade is at Waterford (4-0) at NOON

7^th Grade will close out our home games at 1030 against Kenosha BGC (1-3)

8^th Grade plays away at 330 PM against Union Grove (3-1)

Sometimes it’s equally exciting sharing great news OFF the field as well.

Recently our 7^th Grade Team generated a Food Drive and their efforts did NOT go unnoticed!

Teamwork generates MANY positive outcomes. Thanks to anyone and everyone who additionally supported this effort!

Our RB Rockets…gathered their FIFTH win off the season last Friday night and WON 42-7 over Woodstock Blue Streaks!

This Friday the Rockets play @ Sandwich (2-3) at 7 PM for another thrilling Friday night of IHSA HS football!
