Parents we continually let your kids
know how proud we are of them,
please let your players know how proud you are of them
also.
These kids are all
really doing an outstanding job
and
we
just
need to make sure they know it.
Practice:
Things have been moving right along with practice The kids
should all be very proud of the hard work they have putting in
at practice.
Every few weeks we will try and break up the day to day and do
something fun
including relay races or
dodgeball for example.
Equipment:
Please send your kids dressed with full equipment for practice
we really don’t want anyone to get hurt because of missing
equipment.
If you feel you are missing equipment please let the head coach
of your team know ASAP.

BW Game Recap Week 1-3:
Maroon Team
The Maroon team has had over
300 yards rushing each game. The offensive line
is anchored by Moose Westphal,
Johnny Ruane and first year player Jake Rupnik. The majority of
the yardage came from Brandon Bannon and AJ Golembiewski, with
key lead blocks by first year player Johnathon Westphal.
On defense, tackles Ty Sheedlo and Hudson Lenhard have caused
lots of chaos in the opposing teams back field. The defense also
has 2 new players at the corner back positions, Alec Coward and
Kurtis Stahl. They have also added some “key” touchdown saving
tackles. Great Job by all the Maroon players through three
weeks!
White Team :
Week 1: Harvard
Jacob
Rosing carried the ball for two
touchdowns and over 100 yards rushing on the day. Nick DeGroot
was a force on the defensive line and disrupted Harvard's
offense throughout the game. Merrick Robinson also provided
defensive support with multiple tackles from the linebacker
position. Ryan Huffhines and Jack Alberts also played well on
both the offensive and defensive lines.
Week 2: St. Eds
Two
first-year players stepped-up and made big plays on the
defensive side of the ball to help secure a victory. Safety Pat
Molidor made a couple of great tackles to prevent long touchdown
runs by the opponent, and defensive lineman Sean Cook recovered
a fumble with two minutes left in the game that ultimately led
to Jacob Rosing's 88-yard game winning touchdown run
Week 3: Marengo
Quarterback
Scott Minker played well on both sides of the ball, and
completed his first pass of the season on a 10-yard strike to
tight end Jacob Thoma. Jacob Rosing provided the only scoring of
the game with a 60-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. An
all-around team effort was needed to pull out the victory,
including strong play from linebacker Brodie Johnson,
cornerbacks Blake Wisdom and Justin Haley, and defensive end
Jacob Thoma.
Gold Team:
Week 1 vs St. Eds:
With the leadership of veterans T.D. Byrne running like the wind
and EL Gato Diebler blasting through the offensive line the gold
team had a great time vs. St. Eds week 1…our other 14 rookies
did a great job also, notably The Nightmare Drdla with some
great running and blocking and Big Show Thomas making some huge
holes.
Week 2 vs. Harvard:
The Mailman Melton delivered on both sides of the ball that day,
He along with Defensive standouts Night-train Kaufman and the
Junk Yard Dog Bolman where ready for anything that Harvard threw
at them that day….the Killer-B defense was too much for the
Stingers.
Week 3 vs. St. Mary’s:
The Sacman must have been hungry because he was in the backfield
gobbling up QB’s all day. One of the best series of the year
was the goal line stand led by The Hawk Frantti, Irish Assasin
with lots of help from the rest of the defense. The Hammer
Holian also made a game saving tackle at CB, Big Show was the
first lineman to get the extra point into the end zone.
If you have any questions please feel
free to ask the coaching staff and thanks for all your
