We hope that your 2019 Spring Break was great, and that everyone enjoyed just a little time off before the kids return to school to finish their final semester before Summer break.

This is just a follow up reminder from our previous 3/7/19 email regarding our NEW “2019 On-Line Registration”

Our ON-LINE registration actually officially opened yesterday Sunday 3/31/19 and it’s available thru 4/30/19. Our hopes are your experience is good, and you will be able to easily register your kid(s) for this upcoming 2019 season.

Our website will continue to be updated weekly with a variety of additions. We have also “live pre-tested” our on-line registration process with a few parents.

A few reminders again this season will be:

  1. “On-Line” Registration began on Sunday March 31st of this year vs the traditional visit to manually register players at the SG Grade School!
    1. Early bird discounts will only be for ALL registrations done during “on-line” registration period in April.
    2.   Equipment Fittings, and Late walk up registrations (addtl fee), will take place on Saturday May 11th at Thelen Park from 8:00 AM until Noon @ 8400 Winn Road Spring Grove, IL 60081
    3.  You will also receive your free Comets 2019 T-Shirt at the 5/11/19 equipment fitting.
    4. Our make-up fitting date this year will be held on Wednesday 5/15/19 at Thelen Park from 4 PM to 7 PM.
    5. No Fundraiser will be required in 2019.
    6. Volunteer agreements will remain the same in 2019.
    7. Flag Registration will remain the same.
    8.  Registration fees have increased slightly in 2019 (perhaps the first time in over a decade) but basically just to include a portion of the old fundraiser fee.
    9. Several NEW payment options will be made available to you as you register. If you find this option is still difficult, please reach out to a Coach or Director and we will do what we can to work something out and get your child in the program.
    10. It’s critical to get kids registered in April and fitted in May as that’s when we will order players Custom Jerseys, etc..
    11.  All player information from this 2019 season will be carried over into the 2020 season for returning players so this process will be even EASIER next season!
  2.  Spiritwear will also be opening their “On-line Store” on 6/1/19! The trailer will continue to stock the general fast moving items, and on-line will be available for early order of Custom items!
  3. This email is the now the second message being sent out regarding our upcoming registration and 2019 changes. We will also use Facebook and/or any other means of media releases to further get the word out.

If you know of anyone NEW that’s interested in joining the Comets Football program, please pass along their name and contact information to us and we will keep them updated with all upcoming news.

We are also offering all returning Comet players $50 per any “NEW” player that they can register in April that remains with the program thru this 2019 season.

We fully understand this is a new registration process for most (on-line), and we certainly welcome your feedback. If you find it’s too challenging, you still have the option to register in person at the May 11th fitting but it will just not be at the discounted rate.
